I help organizations better understand human needs so they can design services and experiences that are clearer, simpler, and more meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For over 14 years, I\u2019ve been working in the fields of digital design and service transformation. I\u2019m interested in how people experience a service \u2014 whether it\u2019s with a company, an institution, or a technology \u2014 and how we can redesign these experiences to make them truly human-centered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hold a Master\u2019s degree in Interaction Design from Universit\u00e9 Laval. I\u2019m also UX Certified by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nngroup.com\/ux-certification\/people\/\">Nielsen Norman Group<\/a>, a global authority in the field, and a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.interaction-design.org\/members\/audrey-marcotte-dubuc?r=audrey-marcotte-dubuc\">Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF)<\/a>. I work in both French and English, across Canada, France, and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years, I\u2019ve collaborated on innovation and transformation projects with organizations such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Canadian Space Agency (CSA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thales Digital Solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Canadian Armed Forces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Executive Council of Quebec (MCE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ministry of the Environment, the Fight Against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks (MELCCFP)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Defence Research and Development Canada \u2013 Valcartier Research Centre (DRDC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public Safety Canada<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Centre de services scolaire des D\u00e9couvreurs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commission des normes, de l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9, de la sant\u00e9 et de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du travail (CNESST)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MERN)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My role is to help teams identify real user needs, clarify experience journeys, and design coherent and sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In practice, this means I work on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>research and interviews to understand people<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>collaborative workshops to generate meaningful ideas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>customer journeys, personas, prototypes, and usability testing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UX\/CX strategy reports that guide projects toward what truly matters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Audrey focuses on the preliminary stages of a project, defining business and end-user needs through interviews, workshops, and analytical data. She then develops the CX\/UX strategy, involving:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Creating personas, client journeys, and scenarios<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing information architecture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating wireframes and prototypes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing recommendation and strategy reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2025, my focus is on <a href=\"https:\/\/audreymarcotte.ca\/en\/social-design\/\">social design<\/a> \u2014 using design to address collective challenges and improve community life. As an eternal optimist, I believe design can help organizations create real, positive impact :).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community and sharing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019m the founder and local leader of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/ixdfquebec\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IxDF community in Quebec City<\/a> \u2014 a space for designers and UX professionals to connect, share ideas, and learn from one another.
